Mark Harris enjoys working
with beginners, as well as advanced students. He teaches all styles
of dance, specializing in West Coast Swing. Mark is a U.S. Open Swing Dance
Championships Award Winner and an Eight time State Swing Dance Champion. |

|
He and his dance partner, Glenda Evans,
are currently in 1st Place on the 2008 Masters Tour (Masters National
Swing Dance Championships.) They were 2nd
in the Nation on the 2007 Masters Tour, and Mark and his wife, Mary, won 3rd
Place on the 2006 Masters tour.

Since partnering in the fall of 2006, Mark & Glenda have won: 1st Place at the
2006 Nashville Classic, 1st
Place at the 2006 Oklahoma/Kansas State Championships, 2nd Place at the 2007
America's Classic, 2nd Place at the 2007 Swing Dance America, 2nd Place at
the 2007 Grand Prix of Swing, 3rd Place at Dallas D.A.N.C.E., 2nd Place
at the Tampa Bay Classic, 4th Place at the U.S. Open, 2nd Place at Spotlight
Dance Championships, 2nd Place at America's Classic, and 1st Place at the
2008 Chicago Classic! |

Mark is a Judging coordinator
for the Oklahoma/Kansas State Swing Dance Association, a former State Director for
the NTA (National Teachers Association), and was Co-Event Director of the
Heartland Dance Festival, Kansas City Swing Challenge, and Dancin' Up A
Storm for Shrine Hospital for Children. |

| Mark
travels to many dance events during the year, either working as part of the
event staff by teaching workshops, judging, scoring, as MC or DJ, or
competing on the Masters Tour with Glenda. He teaches the regular
Tuesday & Saturday night group classes at Walters Dance Center, as well as
Youth Ballroom Dance classes at several area schools. |

Mark enjoys helping couples
prepare for their "First Dance". He can either teach you a few moves that
fit "Your Song", or choreograph the whole song to give it that "Special
Touch" that everyone remembers. The choice is yours! Mark will be glad to
edit the music for you. You will find a note from one couple that Mark
helped here! |
