Lila Shultz
has won numerous awards regionally and nationally in her
professional career. Most recently she & her husband,
Michael, won 5th Place in the Open Professional American
Smooth Division at the Heart of America DanceSport
Championships.
They won 1st Place in the
Professional Division at the 2008 Nebraska Invitational Ballroom
Championships, and 1st Place in Professional Rising Star Smooth at the
2006 Yuletide Ball Championship.
In 2006, they were finalists
in both the Pro Rising Star at The Ohio Star Ball and World
Professional American Smooth Rising Star. Lila helped Walters Dance
Center win Top Studio (Out of State) at the 2008 Nebraska Invitational. She
enjoys helping students improve and to prepare for Pro/Am competitions. She
has a background in ballet, jazz, tap, and figure skated as a cast
member with Disney on Ice from 1998-2001. Lila is a member of
both USISTD and NDCA.
